Dr. Bardone-Cone’s research interests include:

• Etiology of bulimia nervosa with particular interests in the role of perfectionism and the interaction of psychosocial variables (e.g., perfectionism, self-efficacy, stress)
• Cultural differences in eating disorders and body image, and in the factors influencing body image and disordered eating, with a particular interest in African American and Latina females
• Defining eating disorder recovery and remission
• The phenomenon of social media (e.g., pro-anorexia websites, social network sites) as related to body dissatisfaction and disordered eating
