South Asian Psychometric Project (SAPP) 

The purpose of this research study is to help establish the reliability and validity (referred to as psychometrics) of commonly used body image and eating patterns measures among South Asian young adults living in the United States. So little research has been done on these topics among South Asians and the measures the field uses generally do not have psychometric support for South Asians (but do have much psychometric support among White females). We intend to address this gap in research with this study.
